Starling has 15 years of experience working with Southwest Florida resorts, most recently as the general manager at Naples Bay Resort. In his new position, Starling will lead the recently refreshed resort in operations and guest services.

“With more than 32 years of experience in managing several facets of the hospitality industry, we are confident that Phillip will prosper in his role with Columbus Hospitality here at Sundial,” said Charles Lagarce, president and founder of Columbus Hospitality Management, the company that manages Sundial Beach Resort & Spa.

His career has been distinguished by his skills in providing uncompromising quality, building owner relationships, driving revenue growth, and employee retention and engagement. Starling was brought on to open the Marco Beach Ocean Resort on Marco Island, Fla. in 2001 and shortly after was named “General Manager of the Year” for Southwest Florida. In 2011, he joined Naples Bay Resort in Naples, Fla. where he increased revenues and guest satisfaction for the past four years.
